Made tools, found the staircase leading to the wizard (but couldn't go up them yet), found iron, found gold, made a house of trees, didn't even tried to farm. But then I couldn't find the staircase leading to the gem level, and didn't feel like making more torches, so I gave up. All in one life btw, didn't die once :biggrin.gif:. Ended up watching a video of someone defeating the Air Wizard for me.

this game really fun but really hard because you only have one life and the longest i have survived is 1hr10min with a score of over 17000 but under 18000
I played the game... Great for being made in 48 hours. I REALLY WANT A SAVE GAME OPTION!!!!!!! I play it for 10 minutes, then I have to go do something for my parents. It is a great game, but I can't get anything done!

god, I'd be pissed if I were competing in this context. Nice job at stuffing the ballot box, Curses. You should have waited until the competition was over.
For those who have actually visited the Ludum Dare website, the source code is uploaded there. There is an error however when trying to run it.
In order to fix this, you have to take 'Game.java' and change the two lines where the icons are loaded.
It is written as "/icons.png", and you must change both lines to just "icons.png".
Then take all of the images and put them in the package where the game.java, applet(something).java, etc. is.
Do the same for sound.
Just trying to help anyone else modding the game.
Now:
I am trying to make a respawn function, which keeps the current world loaded. I am however, close, but somewhat unsuccessful. If anyone has skills in programming Java, the community (and I) would appreciate help in this, and even a save function.
On another note, I did make stone replaceable.
