Well, the site, in my opinon, was better before -.-. WAYYYY too complex here, but I guess I'll get used to it. *Ps. My number of posts is wrong here, but on my profile its right -.-....it pisses me off.
Can't stand the extra cruft at the top, going to have to put together some script filters to get the site back to manageable. When I'm in the forums, I want to read the thread, not scroll past a bunch of garbage/space wasters.
I don't mind websites trying to update their designs so they are shinier. It's just that if only the design was changed, and not any functional things were changed, it would be much better.
I really dislike this change. I want to sign up to the minecraft forums. not curse. Why is it that you are trying to force us to get more into curse? When I want to get to my settings for the minecraft forums I don't want to click on a small cog in the top right I want to click on my username. With that rant out of the way....
For topics in which you are following I want a button that I can click to go to the last unread post not the first or last.
Edit: One more suggestion. when clicking on the link for "my content" instead of taking you to the first post of the thread It should take you to your post. otherwise its useless.
IPS was dropping 3.1 support in a couple months so this update was inevitable, plus there were a lot of bug fixes in this new update that we desperately needed. Just give it some time and you'll get use to the new UI and new functions of 3.2
Also, the update went live about an hour ago so give the Curse devs a break while they iron out a couple issues (like the broken avatars and no bar between regular and pinned threads)
Honestly, first Google. Then Youtube. Now this site too. Newsflash, internet: UGLINESS IS NOT COOL!
YouTube layout change wasn't that bad. The only thing that really pisses me off is the "Highlights" and "Everything" button, and also how small the thumbnails are on the homepage.
There is a bug with topics that have long titles. It happens once in a while (main example is the Survival Server board), but it cuts off the usernames.
