no, xbox is perfectly capable of running a lot of games lag free, and it has better controls and less server lag (YES IT IS LESS LAG!) and it's mojangs choice, isn't it? they have gone the right way, and no im not hating ps, but i simply say that xbox is alot better than ps3. actually all the ps3's i have tried actually had corrupted more that once, and all the xbox i have tried has NEVER corrupted, and btw sony was hacked too.(that's why we pay for xbox live gold, wich is much more secure than PS3's live.)
Wow Mojang, way to release it for one of the lowest graphically capable gaming systems out there. Even on HDMI it will look like crap, PS3 should have been the way to go. I wonder why Mojang even took the "bribe" from microsoft when they would have made tons more money. The Xbox system is vulnerable to piracy, compared to PS3 which is ahrder to hack and pirate games. I know tons of people that would have bought this as soon as it came to PS3. I just hope Mojang will accommodate ALL minecrafters.
The XBox must be more stable for online games. Also, incase you havent noticed, Minecraft is about gameplay, NOT superior graphics.
Just give it time.. there are a lot of things that start on one system and get ported over at some point.. maybe Notch OWNS an XBox and that influenced his decision. He may also have lost faith in the security capabilities of Sony.

I guess the only thing I hope is that it's not kinect. I mean I like kinect and all, but if this game is just for kinect, I dont think I would want to spend 100 dollars then another 60 for the game...
The footage and pics of it clearly show the button layout for a controller.. I think we will be safe here.

Funny, seeing how a minecraft clone is the top selling indie title on xbox live, and indie titles aren't even available anyhwere outside the US. There is a HUGE demand for minecraft on consoles and the xbox 360 seems to be the best choice. It is obviously the most indie friendly out of all system, 360 has an amazing liberary of downloadable games. Sony isn't quite there yet with their playstation network, they are not supportive to indie developers at all, or ever heard of super meat boy on the PSN?
