Zombies can't interrupt your sleep because in the 1.0.0 update, Notch made it where instead of getting attacked in the middle of the night, you just won't be able to go to sleep if you're near any hostile mobs. They should really make sleeping more dynamic, like the somnia mod.
I hope they dont add in the mod API in the actual relese, i really like waiting for modders to update there mods. i'm gald its not on the list and hope it stays off and unmentiond

i dont play snapshots because i think it kinda ruins the surprise but i check out the threads sometimesXD
Sounds awesome. However, since my comp doesn't seem to work nicely with the snapshots (not complaining, it's not a big problem), I will have to wait for all the snapshots to be compiled in...... (pause for effect)......

just a quick idea, am i the only person who thinks that villages should now have warriors and archers then? seeing as they can be attacked it just makes sense.
Or how about if you stay and fortify village, interact & trade, they gain the necessary skills? Think of Steve as a superhero training mundanes to protect themselves? Added bonus for each village you 'liberate' from the zombie/monster menace?
Bonuses could be, better trading of loot for xp from various villagers (blacksmith, librarian, priest, farmer, etc). Also establishing trade routes or unifying villages into kingdoms or suchlike.
