I love the way Jeb and Jon are making the mobs better.
I can't wait to trade with the NPCs, but them giving you quests or jobs would ruin the game in my opinion.
Also can't wait to see more jungle mobs!

to OP and the forum staff: don2t misguide people. Zombies break wooden doors in normal difficulty too. I was playing on normal because I didn't want them in my house at night, and I ran away from a zombie, making it into the house. I was happily looking at my goodies inside the chest when suddenly I heard some noises *thump thump* I turned around and saw a zombie at the door and in one second, it opened the door and killed me (I had half a heart left). So please, fix it.
The new item drops are bows, enchanted bows, gold armor, golden swords, enchanted golden swords, iron armor, iron swords, iron shovels, iron ingots, and gold ingots. This improves surviving in the wilderness, as sometimes swords and bows drop enchanted.
Zombies drop: Iron Ingots, Iron Helments, Iron Shovels, & Iron Swords
Zombie Pigmen drop: Gold Ingots, Gold Helments, Golden Swords, & Enchanted Golden Swords
There are no other rare drops from anything.

On an entirely unrelated note, in real life I like to mow my yard with a scythe.
Personally, I think it'd be more fitting for skellies to wear iron armor and sometimes drop it to. Quite frankly, they always seemed like the smarter ones, at least before these past few snapshots. I guess iron armor wearing zombies would be cool as well. What if creepers wear random helmets sometimes and that's also their rare drop? (Enderman sometimes wear/ drop boots of a variety of armors, not just iron or gold.)
Edit: Oh, and if they use the weapons against you (like the pigmen and skeles), it should be damaged a little more than if you had killed them without a conflict. I'm not as sure about zombies, but it probably should be damage by default anyways. Also, if they start wearing armor, it should take some damage when you kill them or burn/ fall to their death.

UK english:sticks a renamed 'Rods'.
US english seems the same.
Canadian English:Snowball is renamed 'Weapon of Mass Destruction' and quite a few items 'ay' on the end of it.
Less lag. Infinitely large worlds. No sky limit. No bedrock. Top and bottom far lands. 3D Biomes. Improved performance.
Should be "eh?" not "ay".
The rare drops are cool
but.. WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL THE MOBS!?

I've only encountered Sheep, Pigs, Cows, Wolves, Chickens and a single freaking spider
I hear NO mobs at night, aside from the normal day time mobs
No creepers
No Skellies
No Zombies
No Endermen

A few moments, and a nights sleep, I've finally encountered
3 Creepers
2 skellies
and a zombie
Bout bloody time.
