WHOA YESH! i have updated it too, tried the pirate speak and maked a flat land world. oh and i also saw an NPC villlage. is that supposed to happen?

I wish I could update. but all of my servers that I go on have a $h1tl0ad of plugins and it takes forever for them to update -___-

This update brings lots of nice little changes; I'm excited, especially for mob-spawning eggs and sheep regrowing their wool. It's also nice to see gold gain another viable use.
I cringe a little each time a land generation update comes along that throws my existing server's biomes and known-to-unknown land boundaries out of whack, but I'm happy that the new beaches are going to be sandier.

If they want to update this game, make it so the updated version can connect to any of the older server versions, that would be a truly helpful update.
Instead they fix 2 things, break 3 things and ruin bukkit for another month, this is the dumbest way possible to do things.

According to the Wiki only "11" can not be recovered.

The vanilla server is updated if you download the .jar from minecraft.net.
Any other servers will have to update themselves, so now we wait.
