Well, the update was pretty good, even though I had hoped for some more changes.
- The Flat-world thing was very cool, and I actually just waited for something like that to be implemented, and the fact that you can have villages IN the flat-world is pretty cool :biggrin.gif: - - The ladder fix is something that I am not to sure about. It is good for somethings, but ruins something else, but I wont go into detail about that :wink.gif:
- The language selection wasn't really game changing at all, so you don't notice it to much, but a cool feature anyways... :biggrin.gif:
Anyways, I think that patch was awesome, and Jeb have done a great job.
I know there are some of other stuff added as well, but don't feel like writing something about all of them;
Instead, if you want to know more about the changes and my opinion about them, you could get a quick overview of the changes and my first look reactions in this update video :wink.gif:
Something I am noticing with the ladder collision change:
You now HAVE to place a ladder all the way up to your destination. Previously you could leave the last block without the ladder and just jump up. This no longer works and the ladder MUST go all the way up.
Hey guys, I checked out the Minecraft 1.1 version and I found a cool flatland NPC Village.. It has a crate that consists of about 4 diamonds, some iron leggings armor, 9 Iron ignots and 1 red apple :3

Just be sure to enable "Flatland" as your world type
And just incase you get lost.. the coordinates are:
x: -256
y: 6.62
z: -1173.84
Hey, @WackoMcGoose! If you mean a place that is mainly woodland and never snows, just rains, that is my place. I got the update and the water troughs that I dug for my garden kept freezing over. I just ended up building a green house over it all and it doesn't do that any more. But, the strange thing is it started snowing and raining AT THE SAME TIME. My house was getting snow and my barn sitting right next to it was getting a rain thunderstorm. O__O...
