So this begs the million dollar question: Does mean they'll remove the dumb No-mobs-move-if-they're-40+-blocks-away thing or add an option to disable it for the people who can run MC at like 500 FPS and want to use the old mob trap designs?

Jeb really is listening to the community! It has been FOREVER since everyone has been telling notch to add more block ids! Modding has now become 10000 times easier! (i hope)

The height of the world will NOT effect terrian generation stated all ready by jeb. My guess is its meant for cool creation or the upcoming dragons!

I wish that the ground would be moved upwards as well. This would allow for a lot more caves and stuff. I can imagine it wouldn't help much with lag.

Once 1.2 comes out would that mean that my multiplayer server has to be restarted to get new jungle biomes?
Can Jeb make it so that it will be possible to convert the old maps into new maps with new biomes?
