I'm not voting for anything this year. I simply can't. I love MC, and Skyrim, I haven'y played portal 2 so I can't vote against it TBH.
I'm 20 BTW for all "12 year old fan-boy" remarks. >.>
Anyways... I love Skyrim - but it was so buggy it almost became un-enjoyable. As for Minecraft, its hella addicting... But it gets boring fast. Is it odd I enjoy people playing custom maps rather then playing it about 40% of the time? Perhaps its jsut the people recording it that make it fun.
Note: I'm 19.
I have to be honest here, but I'm confused as to why FIFA is on here? I guess it's on there due to 3rd world countries. Anyhow, I'm debating here. Either Minecraft or Skyrim will get my vote. Skyrim has a HUGE amount of content and quests and special items. But Minecraft allows you to make anything you want, and the modding community, at the moment, is probably the best I've seen. When I look at a game my favorite part about it is the customization. Minecraft is unlimited in how you can customize your world whereas Skyrim has some limits. For example, you cannot enchant certain items with certain enchantments. Even though Skyrim has it's limits I still feel like I have unlimited options. Plus Skyrim makes me feel like a total badass, which is what separates it from Minecraft. It's very close for me, but I have to vote Skyrim. Why? Items. Skyrim has a bigger amount of unique items that Minecraft cannot compare to. Weapons like the Wabbajack, Nightingale items, Spell Breaker, etc. On top of that are all the powers, shouts, spells, and abilities that your character can use/have. So it all came down to combat and items in all reality. Customization was even between the two. I won't mind if Minecraft wins, but my vote belongs to Skyrim.
BTW, if you read this all, here's a
Not sure what the big deal is with Call of Duty 3, seems fine to me. But I have only owned Call of Duty 4 MW so that might be why, I am not the type that will buy a FPS every year. However I do agree that it should not win an award, there are plenty of other games that deserve it.
I just wish the less known games like Dark Soul was on there, this list is way too small. The only games I have played from that small list is Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, Minecraft and Batman AC.
Minecraft should no longer be on lists and win awards. It truly is THE best game. With the use of mods and texture packs, minecraft can be whatever the higglemz you want it to be, even skyrim.
PS: I think skyrim is only on there because it was so highly anticipated and loved by elder scroll fans. The final product looks really borring and easy to me.

Though no doubt we'll end up getting buried by the MW3 drones.
Oh well, I just hope it's not COD. *shudders*
