I spent most of the day until I finally met somebody from my hometown, wandering around aimlessly in my stupid ski-mask that I was wearing because I'm a hideous monstrosity, holding back tears because I've never been to a convention by myself before and I'd recently had a huge scare when somebody hacked my boyfriend's twitter account and convinced me he was dead. He's not, he's just in the hospital and can't talk to me very often. I was hoping a friend of mine I've known for years would be going to help take my mind off of him so that I could enjoy myself, but he apparently sold his ticket without telling me. I have trouble recognizing faces so I couldn't find my other friends I knew were there; this friend had told me he would be waiting in the registration boardroom for me. I'm too shy to make new friends, and my admittedly creepy ski-mask wasn't helping, but it was all I had to cover my horrible face.

Could any Minecon-goers that check the forums please hug me tomorrow?

Carl tweeted that they may have to do this again. I wasn't able to go this year, but I'm 90% sure I'll go next year.
