I'm not too sure myself, at first sight, I thought it was a lion, but then looking at it more, I'd say it was some sort of monkey. Who cares if it doesn't have the right colour or not, Minecraft's not the most realistic game I've seen. But yeah, my thought is it's a Monkey, as it would suit the Jungle biome the most, due to the extremely tall trees and climbable vines and such. Then again, that's my opinion.
But then again, if you think about it, most if not, all mobs have a purpose in Minecraft, besides the Pig since Chickens and Cows now drop food. So, what purpose would a Tiger or a Monkey really have in Minecraft?
its tiger, i make pixel art with cubes about the size of a small beed for a part time fun job, and i made a tiger not to long ago, its a tiger, no dout about it, its, a, tiger

Every artist has a different style, so we can't be too sure. I doubt that the artist that does the art for Minecraft has the exact same style as you.
Make the data tracking feature an option of some sort when logging in (a little tick box under "remember password" maybe). People who are ok with it can give out info and the people who think it's a bad idea can just opt out. Mojang will still get a ton of data and everyone will be happy.
...and I'm going to guess that the mob is a squirrel of some kind (maybe a flying squirrel). It looks like it's sitting on a leaf block in the back, so it cant be large, and what little of the face I can see (assuming that is a face) looks more rodent like than primate. A squirrel might also be a good fit too because with animals no longer able to despawn, you don't want to make an animal so biome specific that it will be REALLY out of place if it accidentally migrates to a new biome.
It has to be a real type of jungle mob. Monkeys could be the one. But by the looks of it seems to be a jaguar looking at the chicken. You can see the wild cat looking at the chicken on the left. So it is possible for a wild cat to be in the game. They might hunt other mobs like a or a
It should be a monkey that steals anything shinier than Iron from chests that you leave around, even if it looks more like a big cat.
And also, everyone's saying TIGER, but I think LEOPARD. Because leopards are AMAZING. :-P

Define Cute (choose 1): A) Creepers Aerbunnies C) Herobrine. If you chose A): You appeal to destruction and to stereotypes. If you chose B): You are a perfectly normal person, and enjoy the Aether Mod. If you chose C): Please leave the planet now before you set off a nuclear warhead--no one enjoys mass murders, however nice they might seem to you.
Personally I'm fine with the data collection, just as long as I can opt out of it. One problem I can see happening is that it might cause lag spikes on a slow internet connection.
I see... A new type of wood, Something behind the leaves next to what i want, to be A thing with Green Eyes and orangish hair... OH its an Irish Man!
But, what is in the tree? can you see it?It looks like a Baby in Cloth. IT HAS GREEN EYES!

Btw, looks like some sort of cat...although there were hints of a monkey (and possibly an alligator)
