Awesome! Can't wait!

Looks like another arcade game that Mojang wants $10 for.

I honestly wish mojang would focus on minecraft and not on other games. I love minecraft not cobalt or scrolls or other bs. Minecraft needs A LOT of improving but there goes mojang not improving it but making new games. It's quite sad really I think we all would rather have more epic minecraft updates and mod support and a better minecraft than a new little game. Minecraft needs more developers and other people so why do they insist on not hiring them and making minecraft better? I wish they'd work on the game I love so much and not on different games that honestly I don't really care about.

Will the actual game not work for me if I pre-order the alpha?

I bet that we can't log in that pagr because the new "migrating accounts" system is still buggy, it was introduced very recently.

Sweet a new game, but now the minecraft.net login just loops over and over.

I have to say I agree with the few people that have posted about Mojang working on other games. I would like to see more refinement of Minecraft and maybe native mod support (because lets face it without player made mods Minecraft is only good for about a week of play before it gets boring)also I would love to have native HD graphic support.

As for the complaint about advertising of other games everyone should realize that this site isn't owned by anyone from Minecraft (as far as I know) it is owned by Curse and they have stuff for many other games.

In regards to the new game after watching the trailer , there are many side scrollers out there along these same lines that are free or open source so I wont be personally buying it.
