Uploading any files from Minecraft (.jar, sounds) other than save files and texture packs (probably other things idk about) is illegal. Download from the assets or don't download it at all.

I remember when sheep ate grass. Its cool that now they eat grass and regain wool.

I love the new features, although i canot update to them now. I love the idea of sheep growing wool, but how fast?

Dont know if this is a problem just with myself, but atm im playing single player survival and when i build a portal to the nether, my game crashes and it deletes all the items in my bags and put me back at the server spawn >_>


Well i managed to figure it out, Running this snapshot i was unable to create a nether, so i rolled it back to 1.0 went into the nether, then installed the snapshot and log back in already inside the nether, now its all working fine.

I found out that if u press the 'b' key, u can switch between survival/creative mode

jeb is way better than notch

Yay!!! I'm sick of having to shoot the sheep on my farm coz they look ugly with no wool.

can you put those monster eggs in dispensers? that would be pretty awesome for custom maps and stuff

To all who are posting "Jeb is way better than Notch," remarks:

A request for a little more consideration, please. Jeb is doing a fantastic job, but I would say it's in pretty poor taste to bash the man who single-handedly created the game in next breath. Besides, Jeb has been given executive control of the game--it's not like Notch is totally uninvolved.

So, can we all try to avoid ignoring all of the good an individual has done because they make a few decisions we don't agree with? Give the credit where the credit is due without slamming someone else at the same time? Simple manners, people.

Try to look at it this way: sometimes when you truly focus on a project that's important to you, you lose objectivity. It becomes too important in your own mind. You aren't able to step away from it and say, "Hey, maybe it would actually be better to do this instead of what I really wanted to do." And it's all opinion, anyway. Don't like a feature or a new game mechanic? Express your opinion about the feature or game mechanic--not the person. Like a new addition to the game? Express your approval of the new addition--not the person.

Yeah, now jeb needs to replace those npc's with pigmans.

Am I the only one who can't get the new features to work in SMP?

It's a vanilla game with no mods running the latest Simple Server.

Another tip-off that the updates didn't kick in is the buggy log-in. Spotty at best.

I think a good idea would be to utilize the vestigial "Map Type" button for something. Maybe map themes like Infdev and Winter.

Minecraft was based on another game.
Things are easier when you have something as a reference/base/inspiration.

Jeb, I will love you forever if you make it so when pistons break gravel, there is an equal chance of getting flint from it if you just dug it up. Currently, there is 100 percent chance of just getting gravel.
