Could be worse, ColdLeo. You should try going back a bit and reading comments on the Mojang v. Zenimax conflict. That'll make your hair turn white with shame.
I will end up buying it just to see how it differs, though I can't imagine the controls being anywhere near as nice as the PC version.
I'm a bit dissapointed with the controls on the Android version (playing it on my Samsung Galaxy SII.) Something about swiping the screen to turn doesn't feel right. Dual analogs would be better, but not near as nice as my PC keyboard+mouse combo.
How about you finish what you started before releasing it? You have made several million dollars Notch, and I still see little to no progress towards becoming a game worthy of anything other than the $15 PC game. So many companies can produce a quality game in under a year. Sure they may have bigger budgets, but they also have much MUCH more to show for it. If Notch makes half of a worth while game I will be impressed. Rather, I think he is swimming in his pool filled with cash because he already sold all of the copies he needs to. Why would he keep producing content when he can just tell you fools that the game is "finished". Hell, Notch doesn't even work anymore. He just posts about all of the other BETTER games he is playing because he pawned all of the programming off on Jeb This release on xbox is little more than another attempt to sucker more people into buying a hallow game that had so much potential.
The reason i would buy the 360 version would be because of xbox's multiplayer functionality and stability. Also to support Mojang as i do want to see Minecraft become so much more than it is now in terms of core gameplay.
Plus playing minecraft on a projector or big ass flat screen would be sick.
Nope and I have no regrets either. I prefer the PS3 more. Nothing personal. I just like the games and free internet better. (though it has it's downsides) Considering this game, which I already got on my comp (I generally don't buy stuff for more than one platform anyways), the 360 only has two or three games I even remotely care about.

"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
he probably thinks that cause xbox 360 $400 minecraft $40 xbox live $40 a year and u would probably have trouble with mods and finally headset for xbox $20 0r $400 for a good one
Yup, I'll be buying for Xbox. Should it have multiplayer I think I will like it better on the xbox then the pc. Easier to communicate with other players, and most of my friends play xbox over pc so I'll be able to play with them. I only regularly play with like 5 irl friends on the pc vs 50+ people on the xbox. I will miss texture packs, and mods because I really doubt they will be supported in anyway on the xbox, but simultaneously who cares. I enjoy MC with out mods just as much as I do with, and when it hits the xbox it should have all the kinks and everything worked out and be complete enough to not need mods to hold my attention.
I honestly dont understand why so many people wouldnt like to play minecraft on a large tv with a controller? I personally dont have an xbox i have a ps3. If minecraft was coming out on ps3 or i had an xbox i would by minecraft and i'm pretty sure it would be awesome
I have a 360, I have a PC. I buy PC games, such as Minecraft. They're also available on the 360 but I don't buy them. Why? There isn't really much point since PC's are better overall than 360's have ever been ^^;
But yeah, to avoid a platform war quote:
I wouldn't buy the 360 version because I already have it on PC. I'm not really going to buy another version of Minecraft purely to pad out my good-console-game kleptomania.
I agree that PC's are better overall. You can do waaay more stuff.
They should have a sync thing like they do with other games, so that people who have already bought the game can just play it on both consoles...

If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy this into your signature and hope it happens.
I have a 360. Since I canot run the current version due to overheating and memory leaks, I cannot wait for the Xbox version! Maybe I can run that one!!!!

It does look neat, though.
