You don't have to be a Curse Premium subscriber to enter the contest, because it's technically a "no purchase necessary" sweepstakes. They just make it tougher for you to enter if you're not premium (and they don't advertise it), because it's all about the money.

If you are a non-Premium member of the Site, to enter for free by U.S. mail, send your full name, address, daytime phone number, date of birth, and Curse.com account name to: Curse, Inc., Minecraft Xbox Premium Sweepstakes, 351 California Street, Suite 1450, San Francisco, CA 94104. The entry must be postmarked no later than the last day of the Sweepstakes Period, and received by Sponsor within five (5) business days following the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
You people need to calm down and do some research before mouthing off. Every contest that they hold they explain why it is US-only: it's because of YOUR COUNTRY'S contest rules. In fact, some US states have their own contest rules and therefore get excluded from contests themselves.
Use your brain. They don't prevent you from participating just to spit in your eye. There are legal reasons why they cannot include your country.

It's not just the transfer speed. Solid states are pretty much the same technology as thumb drives. They don't have any mechanical or moving parts, so they don't heat up as quickly and as much as traditional hard disks. Ideal for high-end or gaming laptops.
UK AND America? Yeah sound a bit unfair to people of the europeant union, canadians and the rest of the wrold, since only a small distance separate them.
