I downloaded minecraft 1.0 a few minutes after it came out there was lots of lag even on single player but it should have no lag now
FPS has improved considerably, for me. Before 1.0 I was noticing lots of lag while chunks were being generated in single player [not so much in multiplayer, since another machine is doing that work] but once that was finished for a given area it was fine. I haven't really explored any new areas with 1.0 yet but I'd be surprised if it still didn't make things a bit laggy.
Is anyone else having the problem of ice spreading over the entire map?.... I used to live right by a huge lake....now its all ICE! :angry.gif:
I'm sad... :sad.gif:

Creator of the Multishot Time-Lapse Mod
It fell by the wayside in the final rush to get as many existing features finished and bugs fixed as possible before release.
At the Q&A Notch said it's now a high priority to get that finished.

Bug fixes don't necessarily mean less lag..
