ok seriously: october 7th, and 1.9 isn't out yet but somehow 1.9 has a third pre-release. then "supposedly" 1.10 is going to be released so my question is, when will that be released? mojang said sometime in october but if that's the case it'd probably be end of october or are they waiting to fully combine everything into one massive 1.9 update with these pre-releases nullifying the need to use 1.10 as the update name?
I think the black stuff is ender goop. Maybe even tar. Lol, La Brea tar pits in Minecraft. Tar pit mob traps FTW!

For those wondering about the large glass pillars..those are actual for debug use..but Jeb forgot to put them out of the client ^^
As far as I know he mentioned that they are some kind of stronghold debug pillars.
About the 'crying obsidian' or like other say 'black magic' those are the blocks which are the border of the skyland portal.
To activate it you have to use a Eye of the Ender...but since the code for the actual activate affect isn't in yet..you can't access it yet.
WTH YOU CAN DO WITH GOING LVL UP IM LVL 4 NOW AND STILL NOTHING!!!
You use your XP levels to enchant items, if you add an item (like a sword) to an enchantment table it will give you 3 random options which will have a green number on them, that is the amount of XP levels you need to spend to enchant that item.
Wish they'd clarify this better with the fans.

2. using the bow now uses both hands, when looking at someone, or in 3rd person view.
3. No matter how hard you pull back, and shoot an arrow up, it will still fall back down, instead of going away.
