Why can people not read through comments before posting? If people would do this more there would only be 1 or 2 pages of comments to read through... instead everyones gotta repost and repost the same information 20x over. we end up having to read 20+ pages of informations to get 3 or 4 little peices of information. I have a feeling that that "weird black stuff" will be tied in with the Endermen. Perhaps you can use it to make a portal to the Enderrealm??? Only time will tell.
I can't get 1.9pre3 to work, but I'm told that Eye of Ender will repair Crystal Blocks. I have a hunch that crystal is used to make SkyRealm portals. If you look at their formation in the dungeons, they're in the shape of a horizontal nether portal. Has anyone tried repairing them fully and lighting them on fire or something?
I found the glass towers, it was very nice to explore the stronghold for my first time. But has no one realised that they still have not fixed the shadow bug?? with shadows it is almost black. Hopefully this can get to notch so he can fix it? its even in 1.8
