So far the stronghold I'm searching has had two zombie spawner rooms with chests(nothing real special in them) and a third room with a chest by itself that was right above one of those stone cubes with windows. This one happened to have water flowing in from the hole in the roof, the chamber above half flooded was where I found the chest, and following the river further upwards is where I found one of the two spawners. Seems like a lot of classic "dungeons" to be just a coincidence.
Can anyone give some quick instructions on how to install 1.9 part 3 please :smile.gif:
Well if your using Windows, press the windows key + R, a run window should pop up. Type in %appdata% then press enter. At the top is the .minecraft folder, open that then in there open the folder bin. Inside of that is the minecraft.jar, either delete it or move it. Then move your 1.9 pre3 jar in its place and your done.
World generating is very glitchy. I will not explore any new area in my main world if it becomes like this:
wow. is anyone else getting weird terrain generation? me and my friends have been waiting for a stable version to start rebuilding again but terrain generation keeps changing so much that we've put minecraft on hold until that happens. sucks to see crap like that image above. and having abrupt changes in the terrain. eg: massive mountain that abruptly changes to an ocean with no smooth transition...
I found an interesting chunk glitch, and then I found a glass tower in the chunk glitch, right underneath the tower there was a stronghold. I'm guessing the towers were added to make strongholds easier to find. I also found a silverfish spawner inside the stronghold.

book.png was added to the items folder, so re-skinning it would be easy.
