This is just...amazing. I'm glad to see there's some truly amazing and creative people out there. This is probably the best mod I've seen, and I'm definetally going to use it.
I dont understand why Notch puts up all of these Digital Diamond videos of awesome mods, yet he doesn't add a single one to Minecraft.
What are you talking about? Notch doesn't showcase the mods, the official MCForums content writers does (Sacheverell mostly posts new stuff here). Plus, Notch has not been on the forums for a long time, and the only time I remember him being online was on June 2011, or something.
On-topic: Absolutely beautiful. The reflections of the water just make it seem so astonishingly calm, just like real life. Beautiful! It would surely cause most lag (that is, if it were to be a added) in the vanilla Minecraft if Notch/Jeb doesn't optimize it, however.
Also, the map is not downloadable because it's over 20 GB.
And the water shader eats FPS, at least on my aging MacBook. 1 FPS on Far, 15 FPS on Normal, 20 FPS on Short, 25 FPS on Tiny. Usually I get 30 FPS. I only use it for screenshots... Mexxy, I envy your monster computer hardware.
Simply awesome. So many wonderful structures, and the texture pack and water reflection just made them that much better, as did the excellent job on filming and music.
I was going to post with very similar sentiments :') It was inspirational. Excellent texture. Just what the game needs to bring it to life.
Steam: RobotDeathParty
But beautiful video nonetheless. So pretty
