My favorite addition was probably Nether, sure it was useless at the time but the idea of other dimensions was groundbreaking. Man I've been with Minecraft since the beginning, now look at it *sniff* it grew up so fast!
A lot of people are saying "No more updates"
Does that mean ever cause then i have to say wtf. Wasnt one of the incentives to buy alpha you would get free updates and patches forever? In which case I guess forever meant release.
All this means is that the code is frozen until release. After that point, I'm sure we'll be seeing updates, and additions again. All this code freeze does is to allow Mojang to get a full featured and functioning Minecraft out and not worry about adding new items or features. Code freezes are common practice. No need to worry. At Intel, we have a code freeze between builds. It's not that big of a deal.
Also, favorite addition? Hmmm. I'll get back to you when I play 1.9 at MineCon.
my favourite addition?wow..ive gone throught alpha and beta...im not sure what my addition is..also..does this mean he will stop making updates as of the full release of minecraft?will it all be over if it is *gets ready to jump in with all his stuff*
He was having a meeting with Fowler, the major in charge, and talk about the mission that was about to happen. Fowler whispered in a small voice that she wanted Felix and Bolov to throw bailey in the bench. This mention that the bench would set to explode. The major went up to the Bolov and told him to go and get Bailey and bring him back here. The plan was to arm the charge on Bailey and for Bolov to carry him to the hole with Felix then Felix would set the charge and run like hell out of there. Fowler told every one to get into position. But first they had to find Bailey who was 200 hundred meters east of the carnage. The ants, had jammed them selves into the barriers so they had to go around. They had to use there last canon blasters to fight there way around and get the body. They finally got to the body and ran to Major were should stood looking at the enormous canon. She had whispered something to her crew but Felix couldnt hear. She yelled to Bolov if they had and him and they replied yes. She asked if every one knew the plan and was ready to fight. Bolov and Felix got ready for the fight and made sure that Bailey was strapped tight to Bolov. They went over the plans one quick more time and headed towards the canon. The canon was aimed at the channel and Felix knew once they blow that channel ants would be able to get thru and piles of dead ones would pour out. There goal was to get past the piles and hordes of ants and get to the hole were the bench was. He thought it over and over and knew if they did this they would for sure win this battle an that it all would be over. He stood there waiting for his orders dreaming of sitting in bed and resting until the next time he dropped down to fight for his plant earth. The major screamed get ready and go!
I think that the code freeze is a good idea... except for the part where the end isn't really finished. What is the incentive to go there? How do we get out? I also want some of the biome additions that people post about like the improved swamp and the improved nether/ aether but i realize if notch were to even implement one of these he would have to do them all taking a lot of time and causing more bugs for when the game is offically released.
