As is in 1.9 Pre 4 SMP they are really annoying. I am tired of seeing them teleport into my house.. stand there for a while... and maybe place a block. When I hit them the teleport to who knows where and I rarely see that same enderman again. Their teleport ability is too random and should not include well lit enclosed areas like your house! Funniest thing I have seen yet was when Notch made them teleport when hit by water/rain. That night I was flying around a forest in the rain and saw a few teleporting all over the place at a ridiculous rate until they died. But as things stand now I am looking for a SMP mod to remove them completely or will just play on passive.. they are that annoying.
That's kind of what the Enderman is based off of... :dry.gif:
Anyway, I think a lot of these suggestions are just ridiculous, if they were implemented it would be extremely annoying, and would reverse the game. Instead of it being a game where you create with blocks and watch out for mobs now and again, it would be a game where you avoid Endermen the entire time and maybe get to do what you want every once in a while. I find that ludicrous, considering Minecraft is entirely a sand-box game.
I say you just remove the ability to move blocks, fix or remove teleportation (maybe replace with high speed?) and maybe fiddle with how hard it is to beat it. Other than that, I think it should be left alone.
