The Enderdragon will be a boss mob in the new THE ENDER (renamed to THE END) dimension. There will only be one, and again NOT IN THE MAIN WORLD.
And is anybody else thinking Enderman + Enderdragon = A possible Enderjockey?
It was just a thought that came to mind, but an Enderjockey would be pointless because only ONE will spawn.
These won't be tamable I think he said. He'll add regular, red dragons that will land on the ground in the overworld. Those will be tamable, most likely. The only thing I don't like is the head. I don't like that it's One huge box and a small box, and the eyes facing forward. I'll make a skin for it anyways.
Right because they didn't need to program an AI that takes terrain into account. They just gave it the ability to ignore terrain by destroying it.
Not that I don't think that it's quite nifty, but they've taken the easy way out by giving it a destructo-land to spawn in and claimed it's a feature. It annoys me because I know I would've done the same thing if I were rushing to "complete" it.
To everyone bitching about how this new dragon and the Endermen grief your worlds: first off, this dragon WILL NOT SPAWN IN THE OVERWORLD.
Secondly, if you hate these mobs and what they do to your creations so much...

Before spreading rumors read twitter and news next time. Notch already said its just an placeholder and he is working on collision model for the version of dragons wich spawn in normal world also but arent able to destroy terrain.
The shown ENDERDRAGON is a boss type which can only be found in THE ENDER. (Because of that the title was "Why Enderdragon will NOT spawn in the main world!")

If you're trying to disprove my claims, it would be best that you don't provide support for my speculations. Though I do thank you for the help.
It's a placeholder means that it's not the real thing. It's a proof of concept. Notch is really quite good a proving concepts. He's not so good when it comes to delivery on implemented version. So what is preventing the real thing turning out to be a joke compared to this?
It flies smoothly because it doesn't have to worry about collisions is not a rumor, it's fact as Notch apparently stated that only the "boss" one will do this.

It annoys me because I know I would've done the same thing if I were rushing to "complete" it before the new feature freeze.
