Vegas is to an extent built for conventions, yah there are places all over the world to have a convention but you have to start somewhere. Its not like the next one wont be in Germany, I mean most of the BioTech conventions I attend are outside the USA.
My point is people are always going to be upset about the location, no matter what you do, never going to make everyone happy.
It sucks that it's only in the US, especially since Minecraft isn't an american born game. To be honest I never understood why minecon is happening in Las Vegas.
I might also point out that about 37% of the people that are on minecrafts website are from the USA. To me its a smart business choice, if you want the convention to at lease come out even then you should have it where the most interest is.
DAMN YOU CURSE!! if i don't have money to go to Mine-con what makes you think i have money for a MEMBERSHIP!??!? which, in the long run, would end up being more expensive than going to Mine-con GIVEN that you win... anything... which isn't likely. >_> i am beyond disappointed.
