Barely anything new...
Compared to the updates to Terraria, this is 5 times less....
Not bashing, just sayin. It's not that hard to add content to the game - even users are doing it.
You DO know alot of the stuff in this update isnt going to HAVE textures in these two files, right?
Like the dungeons/ruins. They're made of blocks we've already seen. NPC villages, if those are finished, probably dont contain new blocks as well. Stuff like the Endermen also dont have anything in here. Things like the sprinting or criticals, no textures.
And I play Terraria as well, and those updates are never as big as they initially seem. New enemies in that are almost always just re-using old code, vanity items dont count, and so on.
I like BOTH games though, so.... yeah. Why bother complaining by comparing one to another?
I'm sure the update will have some interesting stuff here.
Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, isnt this update being split into 2 parts? I coulda sworn I'd seen that said somewhere by Notch or Jeb.
Well I see (And these are just guesses so...) (More ?'s mean less sure) Items.png
-Something to hold arrows (Right of arrow)
-Different colored seeds? (Right of Map)
-Beef, Chicken, and Some sort of other cooked fish?? (Around Fish)
-Watermelon! (Left of Green Dye)
-Different Tension Bows Terrain.png
-Iron Bars (Right of Trapdoor)
-New mossy and regular stone type[Has Cracks and shaped into blocks] (Right of Lit Redstone Torch)
-Foot prints and snow erosion? (Right of block breaking)
-Mushroom Textures (Under Pistons)
-Dead Saplings??? Branches???? (Right of mushroom textures)
-Watermelon Textures (Under Jack O' Lantern and Cake)
Beside the textures for the cake, I'm wondering what the red one with spots, the sand-ish looking one, the white one that looks like frosting, and the desert-y looking dirt templates are. Seriously, if I'm going to design my own custom pack, I need to know what they are :dry.gif:.
I guess for now I could just leave them the same, and wait and see what they are in 1.8.
Yeah, that works. :3
CANNOT WAIT FOR 1.8!!!
They were included in the items folder for... a while now. Since the Halloween update, at the very least.
-Mark Twain
