Baseless lawsuit. Hell, I've heavily played through Daggerfall, Morrowind, and Oblivion, and cant wait for Skyrim, but those games have nothing to do with scrolls of any kind. When I heard about Notch's new games in development, I didn't think of Bethesda's products at all. Any gamer would have to be a complete imbecile to confuse the two!
I don't blame Bethesda for their decision. I will guarantee that there are people out there who are dumb enough to confuse "Scrolls" for "The Elder Scrolls."
Also, Bethesda isn't suing them, they just sent them a letter. Bethesda would have to be on the level of Activision to sue Mojang for something like this. Just calm down, kiddies.
Congrats on all the sales, but, you have no right to ask Bethesda to stop using a multi million dollar title just like that. If you dont want people confusing your title, dont make it called scrolls, make it something else. They made the title first, and if it is copyrighted, its theirs.

Lol, Bethesda is the one asking for Mojang to change the name, not the other way around!
3 million....x 14.95 euros or about 21 bucks... = ALOT of money
Don't forget roughly 1 million (not sure) Alpha/pre-alpha sales which costed half as much.
As for Bethesda confronting Notch, I doubt they have any grounds on this matter ultimately. They can't really *own* the word scrolls and Notch is still entitled to name his game as such. They can't take it to court either unless Scrolls is stealing from their game.
Hey uncle_paul yeah Bethesda wont be remembered in 10 years bullsh*t Bethesda is a great company who makes awesome games sure this is stupid but they are still awesome and congrats Mojang on the 3 million mark.

As to Bethesda, screw them! It's a free world.
anyways congratz Notch
Wow great work notch

Can they really trademark something that's been around for thousands of years? Again, Bethesda, that's a dumb move.
Your awesome!
