omg plzzzz taller worlds i have had so many building go past the height limit so i could not have finished them and i know what the bar is under the health and that weird chicken leg looking thing its and exp bar it look like that all the time in every game so ya thats my guse
I doubt the EXP thing exists, I don't see how much it would affect the game.
And I hope it doesn't get added either. I like Minecraft for the fact there's no grinding to get things done. If I wanted to grind for EXP, I'd go back to Runescape (not like I haven't wasted enough of my life on it in the past) or start playing WoW.
I love the idea of exploring dungeons and fighting bosses despite people saying its RPG-ish, but I think an EXP/leveling system crosses the line and makes Minecraft into an RPG.
That was very unnecessary. No one really cares about furries (I'm a furry, by the way if my avatar wasn't obvious enough), so long as they don't blatantly go around flaunting it with inflated pride.
the bar totally looks like some kind of experience bar to me.. because whats the point of splitting in in some kind of little parts when its just for stamina?
it would make alot more sense to be an xp-bar because you can tell much easier how far youve gotten on your lvl when the bar is divided into several parts of the same size.
well i like the idea of an xp-bar, why would you be a pro-miner right after stranding on a foreign land?! ofc you gotta work your way up! furnacing things aint no easy buisness too!
People are funny. Even a five-year-old knows how to spend money, but there’s plenty of adults who don’t know how to earn it. They feel better handing over money than bowing their head and taking it. They go on and on about how the customer’s always right, always the winner but isn’t that supposed to be how the seller feels, not them? But if everyone’s spending, who’s left to provide the service? I think a society where people prefer earning to spending is a healthier one.

Honestly I don't think they should have a Hardcore Mode. Since Notch intended Minecraft to be a survival game, hunger should be enforced on at least normal mode. Who cares if it's annoying? So are creepers and running out of materials. Only like building? Go on creative/peaceful or use mods. Survival = Food/Water, Shelter, Defense
This is also a good thing. It helps us not get bored of minecraft because it opens us to farming and hunting. The update news is 10/10 so far. I hope they don't ruin it.
Jeb posted another teaser image, this one of a cooked chicken. While nothing was specified about it, there also appears to be a new mystery bar beneath the health track - what could it be?
Additionally - Notch appears to have been experimenting with map-height changes. He went on to say that while nothing definitive is planned, they are looking into possible map height restrictions in the future.
Finally - a new launcher is being tested! You can help test it here. Bear in mind, it is only launching Minecraft for the moment, but the stress-testing of the launcher will provide helpful data for Mojang, to further improve it!
Stay tuned for further updates as they develop.
Im not sure what the bar stands for but the possible change in map height sounds awesome. I tried out the launcher though and I ended up with an error sayin: Fatal error occured (5): Unable to validate certificate chain. Chain differs in length [3 vs 1] Extracting:jinput-dx8.dll 6%
I remember a thread about a day ago about sheering chickens and making them a food and some people acted like smartasses how it wasnt necessary I want to see their faces

so i guess i like that!
Notch has indeed confirmed it officially that the sky dimension will be developed, so that is possible.
Combine that with aether mod, and you'll get 4 realms in total, including the normal world.
Its hunger. :tongue.gif:
not hunger!
How much food you have, in a food bag or something.
I think that's the armor bar. And the one where the armor is now is a hunger meter. Look at the sprite! It's a chicken leg! (I think)
