This is the dawn of Minecrafts best update. After this update is released there shall be a new face on Minecraft. We will no longer build a world of perfection, we will explore it. Creativity is always great buy exploration is better. This update shall be the best update for Minecraft. I finnaly have a GOOD reason to go miles and miles away from my house in search of something other then reeds, mushrooms, or pumkins. I cannot wait for the release of the Adventure revolution that is going to hit Minecraft hard like a bag of bricks. There is but only one thing I wish to have in the next update. Give me my records. Give me a reason to have a music room in my house for more then just two songs. Give me a chest filled of records. Make me work hard for them. Make records 3 times their weight in diamonds! Make Minecraft PERFECT!

Taller worlds make for more impressive constructions and more freedom. A great idea overall.
This in turn can make for new biomes, such as great ravines and high, spiky mountains covered with snow on top. The snow up on those mountains could be actual snow blocks. As for the ravines, they can be used to split two biomes. such as a desert being split apart from some mountains or grassy fields.
Jungle Biomes could get cracks that revealed lava flows or similar.
Cant wait for this update. Time to get creative :biggrin.gif:
My idea for hunger (although this prob will not happen): It's optional to fill it, a full hunger bar will
give the the chance or opportunity (depending on how Notch codes it) to get a Critical hit. That way it's not
required to have a full hunger bar but highly recomended. Notch already said Crit hits are comming, and it may have some thing to do with hunger, just my opinion.
The new launcher worked fine until I went to use F11 to go into fullscreen, at which point the graphics screwed up and I was pushed through a block. (3 blocks to the floor below)
I've always wanted a higher limit. My idea for the regular survival mode is to have a maximum height and sea level bar when creating (naming and the seed) it. (With reasonable limits) That way, people can choose high heights to make tall buildings or have tall mountains or maybe lower heights if their computers cant take it.

Goodbye...
Looks like I'm back after a few years of hiatus, I guess.
You must have missed the news posted 9 minutes before your post. It's experience.
It levels very quickly, but resets when you die. I'm probably going to have the Unreal Tournament "Killing Spree" announcements stuck in my head while playing. I just know it.
Here is the common sense answer to the bars question. apparently in the picture he is not wearing armor so no clue what happened to the armor bar. the 3 you see are health, hunger, and at the very bottom is the experience. the experience system i am unsure of as from the information that has been released thus far, with experience comes harder monsters(or maybe more of them?) and the loss for your items to a greater degree until you lose everything on death. what benefits will there be to wanting to get experience is my question.?.?.?.?
i highly doubt about the aether mod being added there. heck no because: it's gonna be too chunky and he said that the idea was unfinished and most likely cancelled due to it being "ugly". that floating island you see is just randomly generated. guys don't go into conclusions that quickly such as "OMG AETHER MOD IS GONNA COME IN". cmon have some common sense.

And didn't Notch say that if the sky limit were higher, **** would go down?
