nooooo! reverse it, only get to SAVE in hardcore mode. Everything else is deleted on death!

Hardcore mode isn't something I would use much, but it is a very nice feature to have for playing survival maps and such.

Something even more challenging...can't wait!

Pretty sure that was a joke.

Read people read. The pic doesn't say anything about deleting the map. Just that you'll be forever locked out of Hardcore mode in it. You know until Single player commands counters this. Or your mod of choice.

I hope when you turn it to hardcore there will b a message saying 'Are you sure?' Then, if you say yes, it should say 'Are you really sure? I mean, if you die this worlds gone. Are you willing to risk it?' Then, after you say yes again, it will say, 'Alright, whatever you say...'

Well not as many "Are you sures?", but one would be nice.

I love the idea of scoring and hardcore mode, but I want experience to be used to upgrade the character.

Anybody else find it strange that when notch posted this on his Twitter he claimed he died from drowning. I would believe him if the oxygen bar wasn't full

I see a delete world button, but how will he stop the window from being closed? ;D

Anyone else notice that there's a Game Over underwater with a full breath bar?

Or does that happen normally when you die above water and sink...
