Can somone help me with the update, it only loads at "Downloading Updates" not moving an inch, i deleted the .minecraft folder and tried, I tried downloading it at the minecraft.net website and that didn't help, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone got a workaround for the disabling of F8? (I think it was F8) the camera smoothing is driving me a little bonkers.

(P.S. you can't search the forums for "F8")

This is so crappy, I haven't been able to log in for hours.

I see posts about how to fix it, but I'm on a Mac and don't understand???

Someone please help me. I'm not a computer wiz or anything and don't understand complicated instructions.

Is there something a person on a Mac can do?
