What? No lag fix? Thats the biggest problem so far...
I am having the same problem, it is so bad I can not play the game even on lowest possible settings. And its defiantly not my machine because I just upgraded all of my parts... hope its fixed in update/patch/whatever is coming next lol
You need to tell Jeb about the water not falling in holes, random ocean air pockets, and the floating rails in mines, Xray glitch (Pushing tnt into your body with pistons makes you see caves/mines/strongholds/dungeons/), growing a giant mushroom will turn any block under it will turn it to dirt, NPC villages spawning under ground/sand, and the massive amount of mobs spawning at once. All these glitches are things i have found out by playing the game.
A good, professional, decision on the part of Mojang. Too many companies simply release whatever, and then try to patch it afterward; seems like those companies never release games that live up to their full potential. It does seem a little ironic that we are beta testing a beta, but I like to think of this as beta testing an alpha. This delay can have only good results:
1) the beta will be more stable, with less bugs
2) more bugs will be able to be identified and squashed
3) people who have released mods now have more idea of what to expect, and more time to make their adjustments and prepare their 1.8 releases
4) it helps teach patience to an entire generation of people (including me) who need reminders
I think that Sprinting should be re-mappable so people can put it to whatever they want to, but thats just my opinion.
This is one of my gripes about 1.8 too, I can never get the double tapping to work the first time; it always take a few tries before it will activate. Remapping to a single key press would be great. How about it Jeb? :cool.gif:
