What dedication you moron? All they did for 3 months was put together a HORRIBLY BUGGY, AND EXTREMELY LAGGY PIECE OF SCRAP PRE-RELEASE. 1) they said it would be in 1.7
2) they said 1.8 would be september 8
3) they said it would be split in two parts (1.8 and 1.9)
4) NOW THEY SAID IT WOULD BE 9/12/2011 and its delayed again!

BUT: I would like to thank Jeb and Notch for "leaking" 1.8 to us pre-release so we can have something to do! (: (: (:

Hey guys just look on the bright side of things at least they are getting work done on Scrolls and Cobalt! Oh and minecraft is getting ported to two other platforms too! Because having a billion projects is a good thing to do before you finish the product that made you famous right? Oh wait no thats a horrible idea. :S Oh Mojang you so frustrating.

1st It wasn't a deadline.
2nd if you downloaded the pre-release you would have realized its still really buggy but the next update to the pre-release better come out tomorrow even if its still buggy as long as they have taken away the major bugs. For all i care they can have another update of the pre-release before it comes out officially again after this one.
the bug i would like to see fixed is the furnace "SAVING CHUNKS" bug

there had better not be one 1.8.1 update or I swear to god I'll....

I just wish it'd come out soon, seeing as how once it does I have to wait for craftbukkit and mod updates for the server I run (I only play multiplayer, so much more fun to survive with others) But of course a stable version needs to be out for those to get updated anyways so i gotta wait for bug fixes and the such anyways.
Hopefully Notch gets back to working on MC soon and helps Jeb_ out, progress will go twice as fast with em both blasting it.

The one thing I do gotta say though, is with any luck having multiple versions of the pre release, negates the need to have 1.8.1 1.8.2 and ect, seeing as how we're getting PR1.8.1 and possibly PR1.8.2, which means they can work more on the second part of 1.8 and even 1.9 which is mostly just features of 1.8 that they pushed back an update : \

Mojang is really late. First of all, the Adventure Update shouldn't even be released now. It should be released in 1.7! And they postponed it to 1.8! And it took really long! They set in end of august, and postponed to September 8th, then postponed to September 12(today) and now they are STILL delaying?! Look at all of this time! I bet that on 2050, Minecraft would STILL be on 1.7.3, and then Mojang finally says:
"1.8 will never be there".
