No matter how one replies to this news, you're either a fanboy or a hater. The only date that matters in this whole affair is the final release date. Everything else can fall under 'life happens' and we'll be good lil mushrooms. I have gotten what I have paid for when the final release is out. Til then, as a paying customer, we all have the right to complain or continue to put these folks on a pedestal. Take your pick and stick with it. I'm liking the direction that Minecraft has taken from the time that I first fired it to its present state, the 1.8 pre-release. For the most part, this community thrives on sharing its ideas and is to complimented for it. For those dung beetles that deem it necessary to crap on others who vent by throwing insults, please continue to share your one sided opinion with your bad Engrish and grammar. I welcome you as well. I always need a good chuckle.
The news from Notch and the team could come a little quicker since they know what their schedules look like. It's just the responsible thing to do. Instead, we get updates of who ate what, who's knickers are where and so forth. I'm sure the kiddies love to hear that, just not me.

For all those complaining bitterly about 'release dates' and 'missed deadlines,' take a moment and remind yourself that this ISN'T AN OFFICIALLY RELEASED GAME we're talking about here. We bought into the game well before it is ready for an official release, and so we're actually able to watch a game mature along its development cycle. Which this most assuredly still is: a development cycle -- not the finished game. Until the game is 'officially' released, the timeline at which the incremental IN-DEVELOPMENT updates occur are set by Mojang and the pace they are progressing/testing at, not our own incessant, immature whining.

This is like the 4th delay, they need to stop posting dates now this is getting out of hand. It's just ticking people off when they post a date, then they end up never making it. I thought for sure it would be released today, it doesn't make any sense. But since when does Mojang ever meet their deadlines? 2nd dumbest part about this, they make a BETA WITHIN A BETA who does that? I paid to play a beta where us "players" could test the updates for bugs. I'm getting sick of seeing the same repeated comments. "Oh their doing all they can to get it released as fast as possible." But in reality you guys aren't seeing the bigger picture. It's past the 3 month mark for 1 update, just release it tomorrow, I'm not playing another crappy Pre-Release that makes my computer run on like 6 fps. Half of you aren't even reading these posts you're looking for a word to use against us and then you troll. JUST LISTEN. How about just like every other update they release it then fix it in 1.8.2. For example 1.6 was a HUGE bug fix, we aren't gonna be pissed because a BETA has bugs. Hopefully I got this message out.

I wouldn't be surprised if they postponed the game's release date. 2nd thing everyone has an official right to whine considering Jack **** happened in 3 months. They put together a piece of junk pre-release and said "hey were lazy coders who get paid to do nothing, you guys test it." If they delay it for what the 5th time I think even people who don't whine are gonna go DUKE NUKEM and start asking for refunds. I'm sorry but what you posted was a waste of time. And learn to spell English.
Yet another delay. I'm still happy that Mojang is taking as many large bugs out of the update before release as possible, though. Can't complain, really.
