I really wish they would hurry up and release it see the problem is that it will take a while for some of the client mods to come out like the ones with AA and all to work with 1.8 on top of that it will take a while for Bukkit plugins to be updated for 1.8 so the sooner it comes out the better HOWEVER i suppose with the pre-release devs can look into that and base the mods on it or what. We'll see. Hope to see it come out soon though!
I didn't even know they moved the date the 13th. It was for Friday, then today, now it won't be releasing tomorrow either? What? Can you guys just give us accurate information or an estimate (Maybe a week ahead) of when this is actually going to be fully released? Or are we going to keep getting "It's going to release tomorrow. (Next day) It won't be releasing tomorrow!"

This is turning out like HLEpisode3.....Flippin heck. Servers get rdy for the update and so do clans but then suddenly its moved. This is gunna be the 2nd time now? Sry but its getting annoying.

Not the fact that Minecraft 1.8 has been delayed, no Ive palyed the pre release and I understand Mojangs thoughts, Its the fact that so many of the players fail to understand that makeing a game is extremely hard work. Someimes life happens and sometimes you dont get what you want. Im acually EXTREMELY happy that 1.8 has been delayed cause I really want to see the bugs in the update ironed out.
So far Im extremely pleased with what Ive seen, while I agree on the pre-release its hard to find many of the new things like npc towns(though i believe its a bug, maybe), and I really am exited for the full release of 1.8 and the inevitable 1.9.
They shouldve RELEASED THE GOD-DAMN THING ALREADY THEY ARE GOING TO LOSE EVERYONE EXCITMENT AND IF THAT HAPPENS when 1.8 COMES OUT EVERYONE WILL SAY o wel just another update, DO THEY WANT THAT TO HAPPEN
NeceptionX, you need to calm down on the useless all-caps rage mode. 1.8 is being fine-tuned, if you're going to freak out about it, get the pre-release, it's extremely fun.
ah crap, i was looking forward to it today, but i'd rather have it delayed and it working right when they do release the update, i have yet to play the pre-release (i downloaded it, just gotta install it) but after i've heard the bugs, i'm backing EVERYTHING up, just in case, can't wait mojang!
