You know what is absolutely *hilarious*?
This game is still in beta. They don't *have* deadlines. They can do whatever the hell they want, when they want.
You people are absolutely pathetic. You can wait a little while longer. Just go play the 1.8 PE until you feel better. Good lord.
Actually on topic:
I would much prefer a quality product as opposed to a half-assed rushed one. I give +1 internets to Jeb and the rest of the Mojang crew for not giving in to player related peer pressure.

If this is how Mojang handles programming and deadlines, then this is not a company I will consider purchasing from in the future. Congrats, Jeb, you lost a potential customer.

C: Bugs happen. Would you prefer a game that could potentially corrupt your worlds to the point of never being able to be saved, or would you prefer a game that you can happily use those worlds in? :smile.gif:

i agree. and if you dont then just think of the prerelease as the actual release. and if you have a different opinion its wrong
Here's an idea: pad your release dates by a day or two so it's guaranteed to come out the day you say it is. Oh well, gives me more time to enjoy 1.7.3 and it's associated mods!

Give the team a break. This change isset just adding a sticky piston. Its bacically a BRAN NEW GAME! Thoes of us that were super happy a few days agow with the game we allready purchased, now get a new game bacically for free.
Be glad Mojang dosen't charge a monthly fee for just the basic game. (if they did the game might of died a long time agow, just saying).
Just be nice and enjoy the last of the summer sun. We all will be stuck indoors all winter with 100 ft of snow falling arround us(effects of climate change).
OK you know what this is pissing me off, enough with these stupid update times. Just release the thing and let us do the bug reporting there IM TIRED OF WATING!

Relax people. I'd rather have a game without the bugs, even though the pre-release is already awesome. Let Notch and Jeb put out a product they are proud of.

For all The haters out there whining about the delays, look on the bright side: It'll probably be high quality because, they've spent more time working on it to iron out the bugs etc. So I'm happy that They're taking their time to make this an awesome update (And anyways we have the pre-release to play with while we wait).
