C'mon guys, give Notch and his crew a break. I see a lot of complaining about how long this is taking. The Mojang team is only doing their jobs, and if they need some more time to clean up Beta 1.8 then I'll be glad to wait for it.

ah well look at it this way they could be taking advice from valve. if that were the case we wouldn't see it for a few years this way there ironing out the bugs before hand to enhance it rather then procrastinating like no other i think in terms of not meeting deadlines Valve is the world champs not that that is anything to be proud of. anyway the update is still probably going to be out this week maybe Wednesday

WOW its like there issent a other wold for some people. I have a 3 year old and a job. If some of you had other lives this wouldn't be a big deal.
Give the team a break. This change isset just adding a sticky piston. Its bacically a BRAN NEW GAME! Thoes of us that were super happy a few days agow with the game we allready purchased, now get a new game bacically for free.
Be glad Mojang dosen't charge a monthly fee for just the basic game. (if they did the game might of died a long time agow, just saying).
Just be nice and enjoy the last of the summer sun. We all will be stuck indoors all winter with 100 ft of snow falling arround us(effects of climate change).

generally, when you make a give a release date, even just an estimate, you dont end up delaying it that much. Unless you're Valve or blizzard.
And to all who say they can wait: you are unique compared to the rest of the Internet community. Get out. =P
One thing you guys failed to understand they released this 1.8 pre-release for 2 reasons to begin with 1st. to find bugs allot faster(we are technically all beta testers ATM). What would have taken jeb say 2 more weeks we found in a weekend.
2nd. To appease the people out there buggin them for 1.8.And give em a lil time to fix said bugs.You all should be happy that they are willing to update the pre-release and not wait till they update to 1.8.
