Sorry for the wall of text; it seems the world is full of morons who no longer read paragraphs.

I want to point out that on the home page, before you bought the product, you must have seen the disclaimer. Remember that part about "this is a beta?" Did you bother to read the part that said that Mojang reserved the right to discontinue this experiment at any time? I doubt anyone realized how big a hit this was going to
become - so big that it has cult status already, and lawyers from giant companies are actually engaging in stupid lawsuits probably looking for some licensing cash. This is not from a company pretending to be tiny (BIS), this is from an actual tiny damn company that has allowed unprecedented access to the code and allowed actual money to be made from third party mods, instead of calling everything derivative. Now I'm not a fanboy, and had I been promised anything that was not delivered, I'd be upset (I am a paying customer), but in my opinion, you might try cutting them a bit of slack while they get things right.

I'm actually fine with another pre-release. They had a ton of new content in the first one and it gives them a huge pool of beta testers... all the bugs get found in 24 hours. They can have it nice and polished for the final 1.8.

I say relax and enjoy the pre-releases.

Mojang, im going to ****ing sue you if you change the ****ing date again.

oh and one more thing.

Take as long as you guys need, If you release when its not ready these same tools will be complaining about server issues and crashes and bugs. Perhaps you should just scan thru the forums and send the update to the people who actualy appreciates the hard work that goes into making these games.

Both Mojang and Blizzard are working hard to deliver the most polished and complete games they can. The only difference is that Blizzard doesn't tell us when they expect to be done so that we can't get mad at them when their deadlines slip.

The game will be done when it's done.

I can wait a long time, but my main issue is that some of the features in 1.8 where supposed to be in 1.7, then we got pistons. now alot of the features in 1.8 are being put into 1.8-2 or even 1.9. why keep pushing back features, hopefully this week will get alot done now (if I recall notch tweeted that he will be back to helping jeb_ out on minecraft instead of diddling around with side projects)
