Boy, I'm surprised. Are you surprised? Because I am. Actually, I cannot tell you how not surprised I am.
I'm disappointed, but it's happened before. Usually with Notch making release dates which he never holds with. Probably talking about release dates is the only thing I don't like about Minecraft.
Notch isn't the one releasing 1.8, it's Jens. And he even said that it was an estimate release date.... You should be disappointed in yourself for thinking that it WAS going to release that day.
If you seriously get mad at something like this then you're certainly not a true minecraft player. You should be happy that they're doing this update and not just stopping because of ungrateful people like yourself. It's only a few days ayways. Get over it.
Don't you mean Jeb? Son, I am disappoint. Also, like 95% of america, I find it healthier to have a singular scapegoat through any ordeal rather than an indefinite collective. This isn't the first estimated release date anyhow. Honestly, I think they should keep their traps shut until they have an idea on their own product.
I can't believe people are so hard on Mojang. Let them work on their damn game, idiots. At least you're actually being allowed to play the beta - some companies wouldn't let you have the product until it's finished.
I'd rather NOT see it released on the 12th. Make it the 15th or the 16th so we get the weekend to play with it. That way we won't wreck our productivity at work staying up all night playing during the week.

It's the ears, right?
Girls just love the fuzzy ears! Nyao~!
The idea of empty villages scattered throughout the world is kinda fun and can still work with the whole, "washed up on an island" thing. You never know who lived on that island or why they left???? Fun!
I'm excited about the update but I'm not getting my hopes up over a release date. I'd happily wait another month for a nice, smooth game. In my opinion I think he should just add villages and NPCs in the 1.9 update rather than just have ghost towns for now. But I'm not losing sleep over it. Still love Minecraft.
