I think these might be new blocks for 1.8, Some kind of brick, grass, floor and colored glass.
I saw these whiling watching notch on a live stream.

I personally hope he adds a way to bake a boat that you can live in, and its hard to make so its a sigh of accomplishment, and i hope that the rivers have a current. no paddlin' *****.
