to foldagerdk- dude i though cocoa bean was already out?? i found one in a dungeon the other day but i fell in lava same place so i lost it. i had no clue what it was or what its for.
YOU are the moron. I was addressing the key issues that everyone was bringing up and the only thing you can address is the fact that I slipped up and added "mode?" You ignored a 2,258 word-long post, and the only part you can fathom to comment on is *two words* of it?

OK, I might have misunderstood your post. You said "To everyone who is worried about not being able to build in 1.8 adventure mode..." But then you went on with your post, making it look like you were just repeating all the complaints everyone else was making. It didn't look like you were arguing at all. If you WERE arguing, PLEASE tell me how, and if you really were arguing, I'll take back what I said about you being a moron.

I guess that clears that up. If we ever want to play the way we have for years, we'll have to keep an old version of Minecraft. =/ I think Adventure, Survival, and Creative should all be options. But oh well. Also, old save files better work, because some of us have put a ton of work into them. Seeing them no longer work would be depressing indeed.

read through the thread at least 2 pages, Adventure mode is not replacing Survival, Adventure mode isn't even being added to the game with the Adventure Update.

I *wasn't* arguing. I was providing counter-points for the issues everyone was having. People seem to be under the impression that they wouldn't be able to play survival mode, and I was proving them wrong. The post was pretty clear. Yes, I said "adventure mode". This was an unintended slip up. It was not to insinuate that "Adventure Mode" would be replacing anything.
People were worried about not being able to build -- I gave valid reasons why they would be able to, "adventure mode" or not.
I was reiterating the fears that people had, and I was correcting them to the best of my knowledge. Example: How are you supposed to explore ("Adventure?") without being able to break blocks to get coal and wood to make torches.

Adventure MODE (cant destroy blocks and stuff) is different than the adventure UPDATE!
How can you not get that through your heads!

How bout you try making thousands of nice, big, updates? This requires a lot of coding and time. I would rather have it later, than sooner but full of crap and bugs... I mean, you don't even PAY a monthly fee for this game! Notch shouldn't even be updating the game for goodness sake!

they only move world generated not player placed blocks

Curse PremiumHey, it's optional as in, when you start a new world there's a switch that says Creative, Normal, ect. Also you don't have to update :3
