Stating the obvious here which no 1 seems to be thinking about, if wild grass causes lag how much lag do you think an adventure update is goin to have? The millenaire mod causes so much that lag alot of people cant run minecraft with that mod and that mod is **** compared to the size of the adventure update so tell me this... what is the future of minecraft... bleek? I hope Notch takes this into consideration I have messaged him on every site possible in light of the fact that he said Minecraft was made for low specification computers because all of these games nowadays require computers that are so advanced many people can not afford them. I sincerely hope the adventure update does not cause loads of lag spikes like something as simple as wild grass I spent roughly 3 hours removing wild grass from my world to cut the lag out which did work(if only i knew how to alter the game coding to remove it) is that even possible? I say all the people that bought Minecraft should get their money back cause this adventure update is going to be nothing but trouble for low spec pc's so congratulations Notch your awesome for making minecraft but come on man get serious Minecraft is supposed to be a low specification game I guarantee you it wont be after this huge ass update =/

1.8 is not, and has not, Adventure MODE.. How many times do notch & Jeb have to clearly state this before even the MinecraftForum staff will understand?

Jeb has even stated that the actual "Adventure MODE" may not be added until 2012.

you could always lower your settings to tiny distance, and everything off. However, if your computer is that terrible, it's time to get a new pc!
