You need to atack them while your looking!
If you look away after Endermen sees you they will teleport to you and rip your spine off! when you look away you can understand that an Enderman is attacking because they whisper when they are teleporting! Creepy stuff huh?
I think survival mode should stay instead of being replaced so that there is adventure, survival and creative.
The only thing i disagree on is Experience orbs..... really.... it sounds too much like an RPG game. Not a Sandbox game. Its pretty dumb
Apart from that everything looks awesome! I also really really like the idea of zombie meat.
would you rather he did nothing?
doing this might mean no massive bugs and he can get the annoying little ones too
he knows what hes doing and honestly we should trust him instead of non-constructive comments.
otherwise
i love the new updates!
This is going to be sick
I can't wait this is going to be crazy But one question will the mineshafts rivers and towns Spawn in a pre generated world?
Cause if they do that would be great.

do you mean a world you are currently using at the moment?
If so sorta in a way, they will not generate in any area you already explored but they will generate in areas you have never explored or rendered before.
You should be more patient. Yes i can't wait for the update either, but the longer it takes means the better it will be and it will have less bugs. I hate games that throw out expansions and updates left and right cause they throw it out so fast that they don't have it right then they never fix it because they already have it out and don't care.
Stop complaining about the time this is taking to come out. You have to actually work to make this stuff, you've probably never heard of that word, WORK.
Its more of a expansion rather than an update, plus it would just be easier to get rid of all bugs/glitches now, rather than to have to fix and update constantly. Also Mojang has a evil plan to take over the world, so they enjoy us in pain having to wait.

Is there any evidence to suggest that you cannot play survival in adventure mode? I think people are under the (false?) assumption you won't be able to build structures in Adventure mode. I cannot fathom how this could be true. Any sources on this?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Life is not measured in the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
adventure mode IS NOT replacing survival RTFT (read the fricken thread) food will be stackable (im assuming limited to 8 - 16 IE not in 64's)
there will be new foods, seed types (pumpkin and melon)
zombies will drop rotten meat (unknown use at the moment)
endermen will drop 0 - 2 diamonds on death
as far as i am aware the hunger bar will be on an additional mode next to the difficulty
your existing worlds will still be playable but the 1.8 terrain generator wont kick in until you explore new chunks

I can't wait to raid some NPC villages. I wonder how rare they will be?

It WILL be worth the wait, by far.
