Minecraft has survival mode, to survive you have to eat.
OP why is that not good. It is more realistic that way. If you didn't eat you would die and you technically KEEP from dieing by eating. Tell me again why this isn't out yet? The changes are over-whelming and I really don't care about bugs so long as I can finally get back to making maps for the public so they aren't compatible for 1 hour then die.

lol i agree. it is taking so long that they should just do a alpha version like da_bestest said. by the time the update comes it will be in late september or something. the update sounds awesome but it is just taking a little too long. and like rh27un said they keep changing the release date of 1.8 <_<
Actually, I'm hoping that Notch makes adventure mode a whole new option, and not get rid of Survival. Because it seems to me that this could ruina lot of maps people have made, and make maping overall even harder.
Any more specific details about the endermen? I want to know if they spawn only in the dark, whether they burn in the light, and exactly how long you need to look at them before attacking.
