Something strange to see water in desert biome.

2 other things actually i spotted
#1 left/right hand options(left handed steve)
#2 better sunsets (colored clouds and and a horizon that's visible)

I should win something for getting this right... Its the OCEAN IN THE BACKGROUND!

You surely are "out of the water" clouds were always 3d. so don't go laughing.

Chest spawn naturally and randomly now look at the chest in the background.

if you look just to the left of the open chest and bottom of the picture you can see that the sand is different than the rest.

Erm... no. There are already Oceans in Minecraft. IE, large portions of generated water. Or, it could be a river.

it's the cactus geniuses. it is short and tall instead of all being 3 high

The other thing is really hard to notice. If you look at the sun and the sky, you'll be able to tell that it's a sunset (not a sunrise). Therefore, the direction Notch is pointing is West. In pre-beta 1.8, chests are forced to face West. The chest on this picture, on the other hand, is facing towards the player and away from the sunset. That means that it's facing East, so chests won't be forced to face West anymore - that's the second update.
