the second one is that the cactus's dont generate as 3 tall all the time , you can see because some of them are 2 or 1 block high

is it just me or does the sand sort of have an inwards incline?

Hes holding a sand block in his left hand if you play the game normally you don't see your hand when your holding a block. Also behind the top right corner of the chest you can see a small chest icon hiding behind the 3 bunched up cactus's.

I'd love it if the chests will open slowly and play the Legend of Zelda opening chest music.
Also, the other "secret" addition is the horizon fix, it now looks different and the clouds are red-ish/orange.

It's not a different texture it's close to the camera view it's a sand block in his left hand.

that "pumpkin?" thing is 90% chance gold block and 10% chance pumpkin

in the area that looks like a chest is most likely not because i dont recall chests with shifted lids

im getting bored so much with minecraft.FEED ME 1.8 IM GETTING TIRED WITH 1.7.3!!!!!!!!

I'm just gonna post what I think is reasonable.

1. The horizon now shades to the sun light smoothly. (Lighting update)
2. The Chest lid opens. (Obviously)
3. There are watermelons. (Jeb or Notch has already said)
4. There looks to be a small chest icon behind the cactus's on the top right of the chest.
5. Clouds look like their being affected by the new lighting.
6. Biomes are now larger.

Also in the second picture the grass looks altered by lighting on the bottom of the picture.

Anybody notice the tree leaves in photo two are darker then now..
