THIS IS FOR EVERYONE:
It's no left hand, the picture was taken with the F1 thing, which removes the item the player is holding
Not the new light system
Nothing in the clouds
The only possible things are those hidden objects, but if it's hidden we shouldn't figure it out

Actually, now that I think about it, that sand block next to the chest looks like a sand block pressure plate. He's clearly using it to open the chest.
