Here's what I witnessed with the NPC Villages:
-Stacked Furnaces
-Lava pit, incinerator?
-Wooden stairs used as a chair
-Next to wooden stair-chair what looked like a single fence, with a wooden pressure plate on top, but the fence looked to skinny, so maybe a table?
-Torchs

Also, what is that item in the 2nd "item selection" menu, in between the fence and ladder? Is that a sign?

Pretty sure that someone at PAX confirmed the release to be sometime shortly after PAX (Least that's what the livestream admin said). I'm expecting maybe a weeks wait or so. Maybe sooner.

I missed the stream

it looks more like a honeydew melon or something.

It could be a honeydew melon, which are that color. Melon !=watermelon.

It could also be a natural uncarved pumpkin, though the video showed a pumpkin patch and they still had faces and also its not even similar in color.

Wait, blood spurts? I hope that it's toggle-able, and disabled by default, considering a lot of kids play the game, and parents might complain about it.

And honestly, does Minecraft really need blood?

No seed Influ? what the heck is that... I'm confuse....

When you go to create a new world you can put in numbers or letters in the seed box and it will sometimes generate odd maps

The larger invenotry is for Creative mode which has every item in it.

so when is 1.8 goin to be released?
