It's not coming out sunday. They haven't got half of the systems into the game yet, and they still don't have NPCs, so there is no way it's coming out any time in the next week.

Bigger mountains are just bigger, plus, I think that was just Notch playing with the height generation, I don't think he would implement it.
Oceans are just bigger water areas than what we currently have, they won't change anything.
Dungeons aren't very interesting if they don't add anything new but re-textured blocks and different buildings.
Enderman is just ONE mob, one mob for months of waiting.
Sprinting attack and crit damage are absolutely lame, you can't even see them, you just give more damage, what about the animations? The new weapons?
And what would a bunch more things be?
Actually, I don't think you saw the oceans very well. They are not just bigger. They. Are. GYNORMIOUSLY BIGGER. And much, much more deep. Its incredible, really. You can build underwater towns. You can live on a tiny island with NO LAND besides that island in sight. Its like cast away. How cool is that? Also, if you take a look at dungeons, they commonly have many, many passageways and rooms and also commonly feature abandoned mine shafts, which makes it feel like a humble forgotten underground city. Dont forget the incredible lighting effects. Oh, and theres silverfish so that makes two new mobs. Oh and three if you count the NPC villagers.
Does anyone know about release date? Cause I have my spaceship leaving the planet in a few weeks, so I just wanted to play the best game on this planet again and with lots of new features :smile.gif:

Am i the only one to notice but the Enderman mob is gonna be able to pick up and place blocks so what that means anyone who has built a Mob tower sorry to say but all your hard work is now ruined.

1.8 comes out in August and the bug updates comes out in september
I think it's fine. You lose all of your levels when you die, so it's not like you'll be grinding for centuries
