then the mods would be stopping minecraft's progress up to the level where every idea is taken. mods aren't supported by mojang as of now and if notch would have to use a mod's idea, notch would kindly ask the mod maker to let notch use his idea.

I have a feeling my private server will burst into instant warfare against the NPCs. My friends are just fun like that. Especially since they are OPs.
I'm hoping more farming options means more than GIANT MUSHROOM FARM, but even if it doesn't, that would add much needed variation to the everyday wheat and sugar farms.
New biome code probably just means bigger biomes, but if it means new biomes, I'm voting for swamps.
Sorry if the forums don't work right and this ends up being a double post, but I seriously hope MC doesn't become a rpg. With npc villages, MC could easily go from survival( ) to rpg (fail, this is why: http://www.gamespy.com/articles/915/915169p1.html )
