I don't know why people are complaining about the new Minecraft logo that came out a few months ago. It fits perfectly to this one

npc villages O.O

I am not excited at all for the NPC villages
But everything else looks awesome

I'm hoping that this will be more of an 'Indiana Jones' sort of thing and not too RPGish. Adventuring to towns where talking to these NPC's mention a dungeon where the moonlight shows the entrance kind of thing or some artifact can be found in ruins. Just as long as this doesn't get too complex.

Probably wont, but I hope seeds will result in the same land generated. My seed gave me a stack of iron and a bunch of coal and some gold and redstone in the first hour!

^ Notch can claim any of those mods to the real game and the developers get nothing. This is how it is and how notch has always had the TOS. Get over it.

That logo is hot. Seems people are making a big deal about the torch/sword combo any chance this might mean Notch is adding a portable light source?

There already are NPCs walking around NPC stands for Non Player Character, so pigs, skeletons, all mobs dis-including the player are NPCs.
